In implementation of the legislation, Car-Pass non-profit manages a database which contains certain data of cars and light vans. Car-Pass non-profit receives the data from third parties who are legally obliged to provide the data to Car-Pass non-profit. Car-Pass non-profit uses this data only for the purposes as provided by the legislator.
Car-Pass non-profit is not responsible for the operation of the IT infrastructure of the various third parties and the interface with its database. Car-Pass non-profit is not legally responsible for checking the accuracy and/or completeness of the received information and does therefore not accept any responsibility in this respect. It does not certify the odometer readings. For imported second-hand vehicles, no odometer readings may be available for the period when the vehicle was not registered in Belgium.

Car-Pass non-profit takes all reasonable measures to protect the Car-Pass against fakes. The authenticity of the document can be checked via the link at the bottomof this page or via the QR code on the front.
The Car-Pass does not provide any guarantee about the technical condition or the lack of possible defects of the vehicle for which a Car-Pass is issued. Car-Pass non-profit does not accept any liability in this respect.
The data published on this site are the exclusive property of Car-Pass vzw. The systematic collection for commercial purposes of data appearing on the site is strictly prohibited and will be pursued immediately. In particular, the use of robots to collect information stored in our databases (webscraping) is strictly illegal.
All disputes related to or arising from the Car-Pass shall be governed by Belgian law. Any dispute shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Brussels courts, without prejudice to the right of consumers to invoke the provisions of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012.
