Always ask for your Car-Pass! The seller is legally required. Make sure the odometer increases steadily over time and whether the last reading on the Car-Pass matches the odometer of the vehicle. The Car-Pass also mentions the CO2 emissions and the Euro standard and whether the vehicle still has to undergo an inspection after accident.
Ask for a used-vehicle inspection at the technical inspection. Ask for the Car-Pass when you go for the inspection. It costs 8,90 EUR including VAT. Give the Car-Pass to the buyer. It’s a legally required document. Any buyer who has not received the Car-Pass can cancel the purchase.
